Match report The semi final of The County Cup and a few nervous boys around (or was that just me?) Lost the toss and were put into bat. A great batting display from all the boys losing only 3 wickets to post a very good total of 285 - 3. The calling and running between the wickets was particularly good, putting the fielding side under pressure throughout. There innings got off to the a "flyer" with the first pair of batters scoring 30 of their 4 overs. However from there on we were always on top and their score never got above 236. We took wicketrs regularly, some brilliant catching, and two run outs the best of which was from Callum who dived to stop the ball got up and threw to the bowlers end to run the man out. A crucial over from Ed Mundy in the middle of their innings taking two wickets in a maiden over. An overwhelming victory with Great Kingshill finishing on 225 - 9.
