Match report Another great win from the boys. Galvin was there in spirit.

We lost the toss and were put in to bat on an absolute road on a tiny pitch....
Ben and Max got off to a great start putting on 51 before Max was trapped lbw. Ben scored a few more before being caught on 31, should've hit it harder mate. Ollie was unluckily caught after creaming the ball to a fielder for 0, saving the runs for the Chesham game.
In stepped Henry who got off to a cracking start scoring boundary after boundary on his way to an unbeaten 93 not out including 16 fours and 2 HUGE sixes over the clubhouse and neighbouring houses. Henry was supported by Felix and Charlie in the latter stages of our innings who scored 10 and 19 not out respectively. Our 20 overs came to an end and we had 200 on the board!

200 looked like enough but their top order had a good go at chasing it down.
Rob opened up down the hill bowling gifting their openers with some wayward bowling before eventually finding some sort of rythm. Matt bowled tightly from the other end but a few shorter balls were dispatched.
Our secret weapon Abdul replaced Matt bowling up the hill and gave away little scoring opportunities off the bat, shame about the wides. He nearly bowled their opener with a stunning, spinning delivery. Too many revs Abdul!
Max came on for Rob and showed his class by going for not many in his first two.
Zach bowled beautifully again taking our first wicket with a catch from Henry.
Ollie and Charlie pitched in with an over each when things looked close. They were closing in on the required run rate when Rob got a run out off Ollie's bowling and followed it up with a yorker to remove the other batsman with the next ball. Max came back for his final two and they couldn't get anywhere near the ball, taking a wicket with the last ball of the game!

Another thrilling game. A much closer contest than our previous two games!
On to steamrolling Chesham in the cup!
