Match report A lovely sunny day dfor the final. Won the toss and elected to bat first on a stodgy wicket after all the recent rain. Good off to a good start with jamie and Sam pushing it around for ones and twos. Not easy to score boundaries on the slow outfield. Lost wickets regularly as batsmen chipped the ball up in the air and the run rate was looking slow until Rhys notched a quick 20 and a strong finish from Jake and Dan enabled us to post a good total of 98.
Their innings got off to a flyer with their opening bat playing a very good knock before he was clean bowled by Jake Hutt. Very tight bowling backed up by excellent fielding, including two run outs resticted the runs for Milton Keynes and we eased to victory by 22 runs. Fantastic performance by the whole team
