Match report Great first match of the season. The Lee batted first and were a bit rusty to be fair, only managing 4 boundaries in a modest total of 91 for 8. Good bowling and lively fielding kept Hawridge & Cholesbury pegged back though, with wickets coming from 5 different bowlers and only a solid 25 from their opening batsman keeping them in the contest. It all came down to 3 runs required from the last over: Oscar bowled well but the scores became tied on the 4th ball and on the penultimate delivery our opponents managed to scramble a bye. Great fun was had by all.
