Match report Turned up with 8 U12s, with Charlie Line and Jack Stark stepping up to the "plate". Boys one minute, men the next. Considering the lack of regular
U12s this was a fantastic performance. Max and Tom Line got us off to a good start, Tommy Devoy followed this up with an excellent innings of 30 (retired) and the rest chipped in with runs before a stirring last wicket stand between Jack and Charlie got us to 92.
A great performance in the field, the boys were busy, keeping the pressure on. A couple of early wickets from Robbie Birkett were followed by a superb 5 wicket haul from Tom LIne. We looked on course for a victory but we just couldnt grab the last three wickets and they managed the runs.
