Match report Marlow Town won the toss and elected to bat. Their opening pair played very well and it wasn't until the 12th over that we made a breakthrough, Robert taking a good catch off the bowling of Ollie. Their other opener eventually retired on 32 not out and we started to take some quick wickets, Freddie bowling one batsman and running out another and Zach also taking a wicket. Marlow posted a very competitive score of 103 for 4.

Our batsmen went in full of optimism and determination but unfortunately Marlow had brought along some very good bowlers too, one taking 2 wickets for no runs off his 2 overs and another pitching in with 3 for 6. Sam provided a typically exciting cameo, racing to 9 off 4 balls, but was caught going for another big one. Felix, Jack and Zach all hit boundaries too but the wickets kept tumbling and we found ourselves all out for 41 runs runs in 12 overs.

Still, it was a lovely evening and congratulations to a very good Marlow Town team, our tip for glory in this cup competition.
