Match report This re-arranged fixture was played on a cool but sunny night at The Lee.

Rob won the toss and put Wendover in to bat. They showed their intent to hit a big total, but it backfired as the wickets tumbled to some excellent quick and accurate bowling. Matt bowled two of them in his second over, and then James caught one off his own bowling, before three deadly accurate overs of spin from Abdul yielded three more wickets, and Ben took two more in his first over. Rob finished them off for just 46 by bowling their last man with the final ball of our tenth over.

Tom and Ben were our openers, and they both struck some beautiful boundaries and got very close to reaching the target without losing a wicket. Unfortunately Tom got run out when we were a few short, but Sam came in at three and hit a powerful boundary to level the scores. The winning came run them came as a bit of an anti-climax as it was a wide.

All credit to Wendover - they asked to play on in order to give everyone a chance to bat and bowl, and we had a few more fun overs.

All in all it was a very strong performance from The Lee, especially with the ball - well done everyone!
