Match report This was the first league game for the combined Amersham Hill / The Lee 2nd XI. We were put into bat first, and Ron and Ed faced a tight spell of opening bowling which gave them limited run scoring opportunities. A middle order collapse saw us at 55/5 at one point, but then a magnificent 125 partnership between James and Andy helped us set a competitive total of 185.

Our bowling was tight too, and at one point we restricted them to just 20 runs from 12 overs. Our total was probably 25 runs short, and they chased it down with 4 overs to spare and 4 wickets in hand.
