Match report On Thursday we welcomed High Wycombe to The Lee on what started to be a wet day. Fortunately, the rain stopped and we were able to start the game and after losing the toss, we were put into bat first.

We had a strong start with Tegan scoring well with 44 and finished well with a good knock from Seb and Oscar both scoring 21, helped along with a few extras allowing us to reach a fantastic score of 146.

On our bowling all of the team contributed by either low runs or wickets, some key bowlers to mention are Katie, Ben and Reece who all got 2 wickets. Our fielding was outstanding as we stopped a lot of singles, and we didn’t let them get many 4’s. Our backing up was great, and our throwing even better.

All the team did amazing in batting, bowling and fielding and I was delighted to be captain in a game as good as this one and really enjoyed being part of such a team effort.
