Match report A rainy night but got the game going. Lost the toss and fielded in the rain. All the bowling was very good and we took wickets regularly. Unfortunately as the ball was slippy we gave away a few extras more than normal and the fielding was sloppy allowing Winchmore Hill to post a decent total of 267 - 8.
Our reply got off to a brisk start with the first pair of Tommy and Tom putting on 20. However the batting fell away after this, we lost too many wickets to rash shots and poor running between the wickets. The last pair of Ross Hanekom and Teddie were left with a lot to do. The batted excellently and made a valiant effort but we fell short in the end. A good performance from Winchmore Hill who deserved the win
