The Lee Cricket Club News story

Notable performances in June

06 Jul 2019

The Cricket World Cup got into full swing this month, though the weather led to many of the early games being rained off. It was very similar at The Lee, with many of the junior games being cancelled due to rain. The bad weather didn't halt the flow of excellent performances from members of the club though, and we had four centuries and three 5+ wicket hauls during the month. Well done to everyone mentioned below for their standout performances for The Lee:

Also, well done to our players who have performed well when playing for other teams - particularly Ben Harris for scoring 141 for the Little Missenden Misfits against Hyde Heath (his maiden ton) and Rob Walsh for taking 6 for 27 for Dr Challoners Grammar School against the MCC (his maiden 5-for)

The start of July has been scorching, so let's hope we have another great month of cricket!

Best regards
