Hi everyone,

Happy New Year and hope you are well.

We have good numbers and are looking forward to starting Junior Winter Nets this week. A couple of reminders:

Location

We will be using the Sports Hall at the Beacon School, address as follows:

The Beacon, 15 Amersham Road, Chesham Bois, Amersham, HP6 5PF

Please use the North Car Park for parking, there are sign posts to the Sports Hall and there is a viewing balcony for parents.

Timings

Wednesday evenings 7pm-8:30pm from January through to April. As advised previously, in order to manage numbers we will run different age groups on alternate weeks as follows:

Equipment

Please ensure players bring a box/protector to wear while batting and bring their own cricket ball and bat, if possible. U10s to U13s age groups all play with a junior 4 11/16 oz ball. Under 14s and above play with an adult ball.

If your child has full kit please make sure they bring everything with them. There will be club kit (pads, gloves and helmets) available though, if they are unable to bring their own.

Payment

The cost will be £20 per child for the set of 6 sessions, or £5 per session if you can only make individual ones. 

We are certainly hoping all sessions go ahead as planned, but with the current situation, we’ll keep a register of attendance and look to sort payment once we are certain!

Covid

We’ll be doing what we can at the venue in terms ventilation etc. but please ensure you are following the current guidelines and that will hopefully help to make sure the nets are a success!
