The Lee Cricket Club

Hi everyone

Welcome to the start of a very special season for The Lee Cricket Club - it is our 150th anniversary this year, and we will be celebrating this milestone in a number of ways across all areas of the club:

• We will have a series of special anniversary matches on selected Sundays during the summer, culminating in a match against an MCC XI on 24th August
• We will hold a family fun event for all our junior members - watch out for the announcements on this
• We will have a formal dinner to mark the anniversary at the end of the season
• Our kit suppliers, Chiltern Sports, will be providing a special range of anniversary branded kit (see our website for more details: The Lee Cricket Club : Club Kit)
• And we will be starting a number of projects to improve and expand the club's facilities

It should be a very memorable year, and we want all our members to enjoy the anniversary celebrations.

Our membership renewals process is open once again, with our usual 'family membership' structure based on the number of players (adult or junior) in each family, and of course non-playing social membership is also available. (see our website for details Membership Renewals)

Our programme of winter nets concluded yesterday. The Sunday XI have already played a few matches, tomorrow is the start of 'Friday kwik-cricket, the junior teams kick off their fixtures from next Tuesday, and the Saturday league games start the following Saturday - so our anniversary season is already in full swing!
