THE LEE CC ANNUAL GROUND FORCE DAY

CALLING ALL CLUB MEMBERS - YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU! 

Every year, we host a pre-season working party, where club members volunteer their time to help prepare the clubhouse and the ground for the season ahead. There are a variety of jobs suitable for (almost) all ages, abilities and availability. Do encourage younger members of the club to come along and participate (although anyone under 18 will require a parent to be present) - if past years are anything to go by, they really enjoy helping out and take a pride in being involved in the ‘behind the scenes’ elements of club life. 

From sorting club kit bags, tidying areas of the clubhouse and cleaning the covers to hedge trimming, grass strimming and more, we need all hands on deck to kick off 2026 in good shape. 

Do wear suitable clothing / footwear, including protective gear if appropriate (gloves, protective glasses etc), and bring any equipment that might be useful - eg petrol or battery powered hedge trimmers, strimmers, spades / forks/ rakes, etc

This year, we are planning to offer a BBQ lunch for anyone who commits to helping in advance, so please reply directly to this post with the number of people in your volunteer group, so we can plan ahead.
