Match report The U10's second match of the season was played on a very cold, blustery and occasionally showery Sunday morning. Not ideal, but the boys were up for it and played really well.

Chesham won the toss and decided to bowl first. They had some excellent bowlers and The Lee's openers did well not to give away any early wickets before we lost 4 quickly in the middle order. Having dipped below 200 after 10 overs the team did well to get themselves back into the match for a total of 227 with the loss of only one further wicket.

Chesham then tore out of the blocks at the start of their innings, racing to 246 without loss after 6 overs. But some controlled bowling and sharp fielding from The Lee then brought 5 wickets (four clean bowled and an excellent run out) and restricted the innings total to 273 for 5. Chesham's score only advanced by 6 runs in the last 8 overs, which was great testimony to The Lee's team spirit.
