Match report What a match.

Sam put Great Kingshill in to bat and after their openers had cracked a couple of early boundaries, Felix and Matthew knocked the bails off 3 times in 6 balls, Felix taking 2 wickets in 3 balls. Some decent scoring by Great Kingshill in the middle order was then slowed down by a great wicket from Jack and 3 very tidy run-outs which showed how much our fielding has improved over the last few weeks. Our bowling was also really tight, the extras in the visitors score of 281 being way below what it has been previously.

Faced with some impressive bowling, our early batsmen scored steadily and carefully, with boundaries for Sam, Freddie and Jack. We then lost a couple of wickets before 4th pair Matthew and Zach started belting boundaries (3 in successive balls for Matthew). Last pair Robert and Roddy levelled the scores after 19 overs and the excitement on the sidelines reached fever pitch as they defied some tough bowling to add 5 runs and see out the last few balls. The players and crowd went ballistic!
