Match report Well what a turn around from last week!!!! Put into bat by Prestwood the Lee opened up at 5 an over With Charlie and Richard making good in roads into the Prestwood "attack". Better was to come though with Mr Pickney coming in and scoring a solid and steady 83 with his maiden 50, Well done James!. Then along comes George Perceval and backs that up with a slendiferous 61. The skipper made a decision to declare at 39 overs giving The Lee's bowling force ample time to try and consume all ten of Prestwoods wickets. The first 10ish overs were tight with more runs being given as wides than came off the bat and Prestwood were held down to 18 off of 19 overs, all in all not a bad start. Then George came on to cause some chaos with the first four balls of his first over resulting in 4 of Prestwords line up promptly returning to the pavilion. Prestwood quickly succumbed and the Lee took a comfortable victory.
Man of the Match definitely goes to George.
