Match report Firstly, what a game. Unbelievable. Incredible. Where can I start, well... Finding out I was captain 5 minutes before the game was obviously normal. You know just sorting out the batting and bowling order all very good. But now onto the game...

So, the toss, I won. Hallelujah. I can proudly say that that is a victory in its own right. First of the season. Well, what can I say? I chose to bowl first, as last time it worked for us so we gave it a go. Then the game started.

I opened the bowling getting a wicket in my first over. Then Tegan came into to bowl getting 2 wickets. Oscar and Ty, then came in to bowl, getting 3 crucial wickets. 2 for Ty and 1 for Oscar. But when Oscar came into bowl, I saw something. There were short balls, Yorkers, inswingers, outswingers and dead straight balls. It was a Smedley Medley. P.s.(not my idea). Ok so moving on. Millie came next into bowl and got a nice wicket. Bowling someone straight out. What a delivery. I gave Reece a third over. As a captain, you must take risks. And this one was almost Un comprehendible to the human mind. (It’s a joke Reece). But it paid off. He got his first wicket of the match and it paid off. Well played. Toby got a bowl and got a wicket so I gave him a second over. The way he bowled was very impressive and set a good example for the rest of the team. Now Xan. AMAZING. What great bowling you did to get yourself a wicket. I have never seen you bowl better than that ever. Unbelievable. Really good. Now Max. What a great over; sadly no wicket but one of the greatest moments ever. Benjamin Shaw almost took one of the greatest catches ever. Wow almost a stunner. From 35 maybe 40 yards Ben took an amazing dive. The crowd dropped their mouths as they saw him fly through the air. So close. He saved a certain four. Bad luck. Really well bowled though. Everyone got a wicket and bowled exceptionally well. We bowled them out for 81! Incredible. Now it was our turn to bat...

I opened the batting with Oscar. He was unlucky to be dismissed but he will rise again. And then here we go Tegan came into bat. So yeah after 100 sixes and a few hundred thousand fours. She set a good total for our team to go forward and win. And I was just there, you know just ones and twos yeah. Once she retired Ty came in who was unlucky to get out. Time for Ben to enter. Well played. Bad luck getting out though. I then retired. Time for Reece and Millie. What a performance. The best batting, I from you to in a long time. Really well played. You finished it off with 3 overs remaining.

Unbelievable. What a win. Well done everyone for cheering everyone on. This is our year. And we will take it. Well played everyone and let's beat Ley Hill. Come on The Lee.
