Final reminder that the club is holding it's Annual General Meeting this Wednesday evening, 7:45 at the clubhouse. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

Rachel Harris
This year Rachel took on two key roles for the club – she became our bar and clubhouse manager, and she became team manager for our Under 9 squad. The bar manager role involves ensuring that the bar is appropriately stocked throughout the season, and Rachel was constantly at the clubhouse checking stocks, placing or receiving orders, stacking the fridges and generally keeping things tidy. Managing a team means lots of coordinating to get people to the right places at the right time, and ensuring the junior players know what to do when they are out on the pitch – the U9’s were very successful in the matches and tournaments they played.
Michelle Yeabsley
Michelle is our Honorary Treasurer, and does a massive amount of work organising all the finances for the club, including paying all the bills, preparing all the floats and banking all the cash, as well as drawing up the annual accounts. It is a time consuming role for which Michelle deserves a lot of credit.
Julie Line
Julie has done a fantastic job as our Membership Secretary for the past few seasons, and her diligence and hard work have meant that we have been able to collect in a much higher proportion of membership fees, helping to move the club into a healthy financial position. This is vitally important work to the club, as the membership fees are our key source of income.
Ed Boakes
Ed stepped up to the role of Vice-Chairman this season, and performs a number of behind the scenes tasks including running the very successful winter nets at the Amersham School, arranging all the adult fixtures, helping our groundsman Mark look after the square, and sorting out the trophies for the end of season awards. He does all this on top of coaching on Fridays and playing on Saturdays and Sundays, and studying all the player’s stats for the fantasy cricket league!
